What is Rewilding?

Rewilding is actually a term taken from Nature Conservation Professionals used in discussion to attempt to restore nature to its previous state of wild, a more natural, undomesticated, state.

Conservation Professionals rewild an area of land or forest by reintroducing plants and animals that were once native to it but had become mostly extinct from the area. The lands in discussion are returned to a healthier and more vibrant state.

: to restore to a natural state.

Rewilding is about restoring to a natural state and although this term is often used when referring to the land or forest, it has more recently been used to refer to ourselves, our souls, and our lives.

Rewilding your soul is coming back to your instinctual nature and reclaiming the parts of your wild self that has been lost. As a person, it means coming back to your wild self and who you were before you were told who you were supposed to be, before you became a machine to the grind and the grid.

Many argue that rewilding yourself is about reconnecting with the earth, mother nature and the wild. For some, this is how you become deeply rooted and connected to the earth’s energy and rhythms. But rewilding is about so much more than unplugging and spending time in nature. It is about nourishing a deep connection to yourself by coming back to your wild self.

Finding your wild is about removing people, places, commitments & feelings that no longer serve you, freeing up your time, your energy & your mental space so you can live, & love living your life. It's finding your way to pure freedom to be yourself, who you are actually are without ego, presumptions, or reservations you are hanging onto about yourself.
