Finding your wild is about removing people, places, commitments & feelings that no longer serve you, freeing up your time, your energy & your mental space so you can live, & love living your life. It's finding your way to pure freedom to be yourself, who you are actually are without ego, presumptions, or reservations you are hanging onto about yourself.
It is allowing yourself just to be. It is finding peace and purity within. Yet, despite the fact that it is just you being you, sometimes we get caught up and it can be hard to come home into this space to allow yourself just to be your wild self.
Here are a few ways to return to yourself and rewild....
Explore what brings excitement into your life and do more of it.
This could be giving back to your community, spending more time unplugging in nature, or picking up an old hobby you loved but no longer have time for. Make time for it and do more of it.
Stop saying YES when you want to say NO.
You can still spread love & light like wildfire when you say no. Saying no doesn't mean you are rude or unkind. It simply means you value yourself, your time and your energy more than other people's opinions of yourself.
You only get one ride on this carousel of life and getting off is the end of it. If negative relationships, feelings or commitments in your schedule are getting you down every time they come around, consider removing them to and make way for more happiness.
Reconnect to nature to feel more grounded and reduce stress.
This is science. Somewhere between learning to walk & learning to live, we forgot how to wander. Spending more time surrounded in nature can boost your immune system (source), reduce stress and depression (source), reboot your brain and cognitive function (source), and overall makes us happier people (source). Take a walk in the woods to feel more rooted and grounded.
Nourish yourself and your body through routine self care rituals.
Whether it's spending more time at the gym creating positive vibes and endorphins or soaking in a hot tub to relax and decompress, making time to unwind and relax is essential to coming home to your wild self.
